Delete your WeTrade account

You can delete your WeTrade: Fantasy Investing account at any time, from the app or by emailing us. This page explains how, and exactly what happens to your data.

In the app

• Open the WeTrade app and tap the My Channel tab (the profile icon).
• Tap the settings (gear) icon in the top-right corner.
• Tap Account Status, then confirm Delete.

You are signed out straight away.

Without the app

Email [email protected] with the subject Delete my account, from the email address on your account or including the phone number you signed up with, so we can find it. We will delete the account and confirm by email within 30 days.

What happens next

• For 30 days your account is deactivated but recoverable. If you change your mind, sign in again within those 30 days and it is restored as it was.
• After 30 days your account is permanently erased, within a day. It cannot be recovered after this, and you would need to sign up again to use WeTrade.

What is deleted

• Your name, username, email address, phone number, date of birth, password and bio.
• Your profile photo.
• Your followers, the people you follow, and the people you blocked.
• Your interests, watchlists, search history and Learn progress.
• Your notifications, game invitations, chat messages, posts, comments and likes.
• Support requests you sent us, and your sign-in sessions and device notification tokens.
• Your organization memberships.

What is kept, without anything that identifies you

Some records are part of other players' games and of our prize accounting, so they are kept with your identity removed. They show only as "Deleted user" and can no longer be linked to you:

• Your results, picks and trades in games you played, so other players' standings stay correct.
• Your WeCoin transaction history.
• Records of prizes you redeemed: the item and its status only. Your name, email, phone number and shipping address are removed from them.

WeCoins have no cash value, and any balance is lost when the account is erased.
